如何在Web of Science 查找特定作者的文章?

在 Web of Science資料庫（以下簡稱 WOS）中查詢特定作者的文章，可從「文獻」或「作者」頁籤進行。兩者查找結果不同，說明如下：

  • 「文獻」頁籤: 查詢欄位為「作者」，查找結果為文獻。
  • 「作者」頁籤: 查詢欄位有二，分別為「姓名檢索」與「作者識別碼」，查找結果是作者記錄，選擇所需的作者記錄後，再查看文獻。

JCR資料庫的Journal Profile可否同時呈現SCIE、SSCI領域？

JCR (Journal Citation Reports) 資料庫收錄 SCIE、SSCI 的期刊，部分期刊會同時歸屬於SCIE、SSCI 專輯領域，例如期刊 Aslib Journal of Information Management (ISSN: 2050-3806) 這本期刊同時收錄在 SCIE 與 SSCI 中。之前的舊平台，會將SCIE、SSCI分成兩個頁面呈現。而2021年改版的JCR資料庫，Journal Profile 頁面右側的「Journal information」可同時顯示 SCIE、SSCI 專輯領域，合併為同一頁。

如何確認期刊被SCIE、SSCI收錄

SCIE（Science Citation Index Expanded）與SSCI（Social Science Citation Index）有嚴謹的期刊收錄標準，期刊若能被其所收錄代表具有一定程度的學術品質，因此長年以來，發表學術文章的期刊，是否被SCIE、SSCI收錄且其學科領域排名情形，往往被大學院校、學術機構或政府單位採用為學術評鑑的標準。有些大學研究所畢業條件中，規定必須投稿並刊出於高水準期刊，而這些高水準期刊往往是指SCIE、SSCI所收錄並排名於學科領域前一定百分比的期刊。諸此情形，確認期刊是否被SCIE、SSCI所收錄甚為重要。
