願數學家 John Nash 在天堂繼續描繪心中的美麗境界

 

美國數學家與經濟學家約翰奈許 John Forbes Nash Jr. 及其妻子不幸於前天2015年5月23日意外辭世，享年86歲。約翰奈許曾任教麻省理工學院、普林斯頓大學，主要研究賽局理論、微分幾何學和偏微分方程，1994年獲得諾貝爾經濟學獎，約翰奈許除了在學術研究領域有著名成就，他的名字更因為 2001年翻拍傳記電影《美麗境界》而家喻戶曉，羅素克洛以精湛的演技表現出深陷精神疾病的數學家，以及妻子無微不至的呵護與包容。
