How to Download E-books from EBSCOhost eBook Collection

EBSCOhost eBook Collection is an E-book platform, and it provides abundant e-books. There are four ways to browse or download e-books in this platform. (not all four are valid to every e-book)

1. EPUB Full Text: use a browser to read 🙂

2. PDF Full Text: download some parts in PDF form (documents can be saved permanently) 🙂

3. Download This Book (offline): requires log in to EBSCOhost account (or link to Google account) to download the e-book to reading software, and the access limit is 1-7 days

4. Use App in Mobile Devices to Read E-books

Early Access─2021年版Journal Citation Reports(JCR)年份認定新觀點

近年來因線上投稿與出版的盛行，許多文章在獲接受後即線上公開，尚未確定最終刊登的卷期，致使部份文章的線上早期公開 (Early Access，以下簡稱 EA ) 年份早於正式出版年份 (Publication Year，以下簡稱 PY)。過去這類文章在 Journal Citation Reports (以下簡稱 JCR) 資料庫中，統一以 PY 認定該文章的所屬年份。自 2021 年版的 JCR (2020 年資料) 起，EA 年在 2020 年以後的文章，將會依 EA 年認定其所屬年份。(EA 年在 2019 年以前的文章，仍依 PY 認定)

IN啦！奧運羽球比賽的電子線審–鷹眼系統之應用

2020東京奧運羽球男雙冠軍戰，比賽勝負關鍵的最後一球，電子線審畫面顯示落在界線上，結果判定為界內球，因此台灣選手李洋、王齊麟獲得金牌。而球賽轉播的IN畫面，很多人將其截圖，更設計出相關圖片及商品，引發台灣民眾熱議。根據商業周刊、科技新報的文章，奧運羽球、網球、桌球、排球等比賽採用的電子線審為 Hawk-Eye「鷹眼系統」，亦稱為即時回放系統 (Instant Review System, IRS)。
